School Psychologist - Minneapolis, MN

Make a difference in students’ lives by supporting their academic, social, and emotional success as a contract school psychologist based near Minneapolis, MN. This opportunity is open to in-person full-time or part-time professionals, as well as those seeking hybrid schedules. While specific school locations are to be determined, the main caseload will focus on K–12 learners—early childhood is not currently expected. Typical working hours run from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or equivalent
• Valid Minnesota school psychologist license issued by PELSB
• Strong commitment to equity, culturally responsive approaches, and inclusive service delivery
• Proficiency in evidence-based school psychology practices: assessment, intervention, and mental health support

Preferred Skills:

• National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or NCSP-eligible
• Experience offering consultation, problem-solving, and intervention within an MTSS framework
• Skills in facilitating and leading teams, including support for adult learners
• Familiarity with crisis prevention, intervention, postvention, and delivering mental health support
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities
• Thorough understanding of federal and state special education regulations
• Successful background in urban and multicultural educational settings
