Make a meaningful impact as a school psychologist supporting multiple elementary and middle schools in the Minneapolis, MN area. In this contract role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and students, providing expertise to improve students’ wellbeing, foster positive school climates, and support learning success. With services needed across several school sites, you’ll address diverse challenges and play a vital part in a dynamic, supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) Tier 3 or Tier 4 license in School Psychology (required)
  • Experience supporting elementary and/or middle school-aged students
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Committed to working on-site only (remote or hybrid not available)
  • Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 per week) through the duration of the contract (ASAP–May 28, 2027)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments and provide recommendations for interventions
  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams to support student IEPs and 504 plans
  • Counsel students individually and in groups, addressing social, emotional, and academic needs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective support plans
  • Promote positive behavioral interventions and mental health initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding student services
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention

This contract opportunity offers competitive pay of $47–$52 per hour.
