Make a meaningful impact supporting students by stepping into one of several contract positions for Behavior Specialists and School Psychologists near Minneapolis, MN. Current Openings:

  • Two full-year Behavior Specialist roles (2.0 FTE) at a specialized education center.
  • Two short-term leave coverage positions (1.0 FTE each) at another center, estimated to run through late September and mid-October (with possible extensions).

What You Bring:

  • Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related area.
  • Valid Minnesota license as a special education teacher, school social worker, or school psychologist (issued by PELSB); or BCBA certification (national or in progress).
  • Classroom experience as a licensed EBD/ASD teacher with a background as a behavior interventionist or as a licensed School Psychologist.
  • Moderate experience working directly in student support or behavioral roles within educational environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and monitor behavior intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and implement intensive behavioral interventions for individual students and groups across a range of grade levels.
  • Consult and partner with teachers and other staff to support positive learning environments.
  • Develop, monitor, and review individualized behavior support plans.
  • Engage in data collection and analysis to inform interventions and track student progress.
  • Participate in IEP/504 planning, meetings, and implementation as needed.
