School Psychologist in Minneapolis, MN

Step into a meaningful contract role shaping student outcomes as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 learners around the Minneapolis, MN area. This position offers part-time flexibility with working hours typically spanning 8am-4pm. One assignment provides 25-26 hours across 3.5 days weekly; another offers approximately 18 hours over 2.5 days. Though future full-time options may become available, commitment at this time is for part-time service. School assignments are yet to be finalized.

What We’re Seeking:

• Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, or equivalent credentials
• Current Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB)
• Dedication to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive, student-centered service delivery
• Proven skills in assessment, intervention, and mental health supports rooted in evidence-based practices

Preferred Background:

• National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility
• Experience consulting and supporting MTSS frameworks
• Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and adult learner support
• Familiarity with crisis prevention, intervention/postvention, and mental health
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills—able to foster trust in diverse school communities
• Working knowledge of current federal and state special education laws and compliance standards
• Prior success in an urban, multicultural educational environment is a plus

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver comprehensive school psychological services K-12 (early childhood not required for this role)
• Conduct assessments and provide interventions
• Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, students, and families
• Support positive behavioral and academic outcomes for all learners
