Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure for Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, providing crisis intervention, and developing intervention plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
  • Knowledge of special education laws and eligibility requirements
  • Comfortable adapting to new environments and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments for students
  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide consultative services to staff and parents regarding academic, behavior, and mental health concerns
  • Deliver direct intervention services, including counseling and crisis intervention, to individuals and groups
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) teams and other student support initiatives
  • Collaborate in the design of behavior interventions and positive supports
  • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and adhere to school, district, and state guidelines
