Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure for Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
- Skilled in conducting assessments, providing crisis intervention, and developing intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
- Knowledge of special education laws and eligibility requirements
- Comfortable adapting to new environments and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments for students
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultative services to staff and parents regarding academic, behavior, and mental health concerns
- Deliver direct intervention services, including counseling and crisis intervention, to individuals and groups
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) teams and other student support initiatives
- Collaborate in the design of behavior interventions and positive supports
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and adhere to school, district, and state guidelines
