A school district in Mitchell, NE is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support the educational and emotional needs of students. This role involves working directly within a school environment and requires some travel between school sites.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support students’ mental health and academic success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Nebraska
- Experience conducting assessments and providing consultation in educational settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as required
