School Psychologist in Modesto, CA

An opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist to support an elementary school setting in Modesto, CA. This contract position requires onsite presence and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with diverse needs within an elementary caseload.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation to support student success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid California School Psychologist License is mandatory.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, educational laws, and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with school staff, students, and families.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in diverse school environments.
