Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or license, as required by the state
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong background in creating and presenting evaluation reports
  • Excellent communication skills; able to interact effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
  • Previous school-based experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop intervention strategies
  • Interpret assessment results and communicate recommendations to IEP teams
  • Provide direct counseling, interventions, and crisis management as needed
  • Support the development and implementation of behavior management plans
  • Monitor student progress and modify interventions as appropriate
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
