Essential Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan School Psychologist license (candidates must verify active status prior to application)
  • Hands-on experience in a school or child-focused setting preferred
  • Ability to work onsite throughout the assignment (remote/virtual options are not available)
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to working alongside educators and families
  • Comfortable supporting students across a wide K-12 age range

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and consultations for students referred by educators and parents
  • Develop individualized education and intervention plans to support emotional, behavioral, and academic goals
  • Advocate for students’ mental health and learning needs within a team-based setting
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and evidence-based therapeutic services as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and external service providers
  • Maintain accurate records while adhering to all federal, state, and district requirements
