Exciting opportunities are available for experienced School Psychologists for the 2026-2027 academic year! Three contract positions are open to support K-12 students across multiple school sites in Monroe County. Engage with diverse student populations and collaborate closely with educational teams to make an impactful difference.

These positions are for dedicated professionals passionate about student success. Work onsite, providing high-quality, face-to-face psychological services within an engaging school environment, from August 12, 2026, through June 2, 2027.

Requirements and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist license required (verification needed via official state website).
  • Prior experience in an educational setting preferred—serving K-12.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Familiarity with compliance processes and state educational regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and behavioral assessments for K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments.
  • Provide consultation and intervention for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough documentation and reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Support crisis intervention, re-evaluation, and student support teams.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP development.
