We are working with a School District who is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student-centered School Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is committed to supporting the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success of all students while partnering closely with staff and families.
Position Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
Participate in special education eligibility meetings and IEP development
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions
Assist with MTSS/RTI processes and data-based decision making
Support crisis intervention and student safety planning as needed
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Promote positive school climate and student wellness initiatives
Qualifications
Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or eligibility
Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience working in K–12 settings preferred
Knowledge of special education procedures and assessment practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with behavioral intervention planning
Familiarity with MTSS/RTI frameworks
