Position Overview
A public school district in the Monroe, Michigan area is seeking multiple School Psychologists (K–12) for the 2026–2027 school year. These roles will focus on providing evaluation services, student support, and collaboration across multiple school sites within the county.

Primary Duties

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and student assessments across assigned schools
Support eligibility determinations and special education services
Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and student support staff
Provide recommendations to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Travel between school sites within the district as needed

Qualifications

Active Michigan School Psychologist license required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, and special education compliance
Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple school locations
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly rate ranging from $105–$115/hour
