Seeking a dedicated and skilled professional with experience in school psychology and psychometrics for a flexible, part-time contract position in a supportive educational setting near Montgomery, AL. This opportunity centers on providing essential evaluation services for students in kindergarten through 7th grade, making a direct impact on their educational planning and success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or School Psychometrist
  • Demonstrated experience conducting educational assessments in a K-7 environment
  • Strong report-writing skills with the ability to interpret test results effectively
  • Familiarity with common standardized testing protocols for school-aged children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators and families
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and testing for students referred for evaluation (caseload is currently two, but may increase)
  • Prepare comprehensive, clear, and timely written reports detailing results and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and IEP teams to share findings and guide educational interventions
  • Manage scheduling independently, with flexibility to pull students during their PE periods within the school’s hours (7:15am-3:45pm)
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all school and district guidelines
