Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, valid license as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in middle school or secondary education settings strongly preferred
• Skill in student evaluations, ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, and providing minimal counseling
• Strong communication abilities when collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, students, and families
• Flexibility, independence, and an efficient approach to managing a PRN evaluation caseload
• Familiarity with special education regulations, best practices, and evidence-based interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services and develop support recommendations
• Attend and participate in ARD meetings, offering insights and contributing to student success plans
• Deliver occasional, targeted counseling sessions for students as required
• Liaise with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional growth
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
• Consult with educational teams to facilitate effective interventions and supports
