This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact working with K-6 students. You’ll be part of a close-knit school community, collaborating with educators and families to foster students' success and well-being during the 2026-2027 academic year (August 26, 2026 through June 15, 2027).
Key Qualifications:
• Current certification or license as a School Psychologist
• Experience providing school psychological services in K-6 or elementary settings
• Proficiency in administering evaluations, assessments, and interpreting data
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Organized, compassionate, and able to maintain confidentiality and professional standards
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-6 students
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Offer consultation and support to educators regarding classroom interventions and behavioral strategies
• Provide counseling services and crisis intervention when needed
• Interpret test results to staff, families, and students in a clear, supportive manner
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by best practices and school policies
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and administrators to promote student well-being
