Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with elementary, middle, or high school student populations
- Ability to conduct and interpret psychoeducational assessments
- Skilled in developing and implementing effective intervention strategies
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
- Conduct individual and group counseling to address academic, social, and emotional challenges
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Foster a positive school climate that encourages student growth and success
