Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field)
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience administering psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students
- Strong skills in report writing, progress monitoring, and data analysis
- Excellent communication and consultation abilities
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized tools and interviews
- Interpret evaluation results and create detailed, actionable reports
- Participate in MTSS/RTI and IEP team meetings, providing expertise in intervention and eligibility discussions
- Develop behavioral plans and recommend strategies to promote a positive classroom environment
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Maintain up-to-date records, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Utilize a district-provided laptop for assessments, documentation, and remote collaboration as needed
