School Psychologist in Monument, CO

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Active or eligible Colorado Department of Education license as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience with K-12 populations, with comfort adapting to diverse school-age student needs
• Strong expertise in psychoeducational assessment, testing, and report writing
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education law is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students as needed
• Interpret testing data and provide thorough, timely reports that inform educational planning
• Participate actively in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering evidence-based recommendations
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to address student learning or social-emotional needs
• Provide short-term counseling, behavior interventions, and crisis response as appropriate
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation for all cases
• Utilize a district laptop to manage records, assessments, and correspondence
