This part-time contract opportunity spans two nearby elementary campuses, where your expertise in special education assessment will help shape positive student outcomes.

In this role, you'll serve one day a week at each of two elementary schools—one in Parker and one in Franktown. Your primary focus will be conducting comprehensive special education assessments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and emotional needs. This position offers a rewarding blend of assessment, consultation, and meaningful relationships, allowing you to maintain a balanced work schedule while providing essential services.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Colorado
  • Experience with special education processes, including assessments, eligibility, and IEP development
  • Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to manage and prioritize caseload effectively across two locations
  • Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to address academic and behavioral concerns
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with federal, state, and district guidelines
