Ideal candidates will have:

• Current certification and active School Psychologist licensure in North Carolina
• Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize a full-time schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week
• Strong skills in administering and interpreting assessments and evaluations
• Effective communication and collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• A commitment to promoting student growth, learning, and well-being

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing comprehensive evaluations and assessments for referred students
• Interpreting testing data and generating clear, actionable reports
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating on the development of student plans
• Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend strategies for academic and behavioral success
• Offering guidance and support relating to emotional, social, and behavioral needs
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
