This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite in a supportive educational environment near La Conner, WA, just a short distance from Mount Vernon. This role is scheduled for the 2026-2027 academic year at 0.8 FTE, providing a balanced workweek while allowing time for personal pursuits.

As a School Psychologist, you will collaborate with administrators, teachers, and families to support student success and well-being. This is a strictly onsite position—teletherapy or remote work is not available at this time—enabling you to build strong, face-to-face relationships with the school community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or confidence in school-based psychological services, including assessments and intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide counseling, intervention, and support for students facing academic, behavioral, or social/emotional challenges
  • Consult with teachers and parents regarding student progress and classroom strategies
  • Participate in RTI and problem-solving meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
