School Psychologist in Mystic, CT

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a School Psychologist serving a diverse PreK–8th grade population in a supportive educational setting near Mystic, CT. This contract role runs from August 26th through June 10th and allows you to immerse yourself in a vibrant school community while enjoying a balanced workweek.

As a valued part of the student services team, you will:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being and social-emotional growth.
• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational testing and assessments to guide effective interventions and planning.
• Write and update IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives appropriate support.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.
• Contribute expertise in best psychological practices to advance students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral development.

Qualifications sought include:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology.
• Active 070 School Psychologist licensure.
• Previous experience conducting counseling, assessments, and IEP development in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to collaborative, student-centered practices.
• Ability to work the Monday–Friday schedule, 30 hours weekly (9AM–3PM).
