School Psychologist - Mystic, Connecticut

Step into a pivotal role supporting PreK-8th grade students as a dedicated School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity runs from August 26th through June 10th, offering you consistent hours Monday through Friday, 9AM to 3PM (30 hours weekly). Located near the Mystic, CT area, you’ll serve as a key resource for students, families, and school staff—all while enjoying a manageable caseload and a schedule that supports strong work-life balance.

What You’ll Bring:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology
• Valid 070 School Psychologist Licensure
• Experience with PreK-8th populations preferred
• Familiarity with IEP writing, student counseling, and psychoeducational testing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based support to students

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver counseling services to students across a PreK-8th caseload
• Conduct assessments and contribute to psychoeducational testing and evaluations
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and specialists to design interventions that meet students’ social, emotional, and educational needs
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all services provided
