Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential in Illinois
  • Previous experience working in middle school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral, social, and emotional assessments
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Provide counseling and intervention strategies for students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with educators and parents to develop effective support techniques
  • Deliver crisis intervention and problem-solving assistance as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reporting in compliance with school and state requirements
