Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist serving PreK-5th grade students across elementary campuses near Naperville, IL. This onsite position spans the full academic year, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on young learners and collaborate with supportive educators and families.
As a member of a small, close-knit team, you’ll work alongside a fellow psychologist to provide crucial services at two elementary sites (with each psychologist covering two out of four schools). This full-time assignment ensures variety and engagement throughout each week while maintaining consistent schedules and connections within the school community.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Previous experience supporting PreK-5th grade populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with counseling, assessment, and MTSS/intervention frameworks in school settings
- Strong skills in consultation, collaboration, and communication with staff and families
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations to support IEP and eligibility determinations
- Provide direct and consultative support for academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Assist with crisis response and intervention planning
- Participate actively in parent meetings and student support teams
- Maintain timely, professional documentation and compliance with state/federal regulations
