Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Previous experience working in educational settings
- Strong understanding of cross-categorical caseloads and diverse learning needs
- Ability to perform assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling to students
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with staff, families, and outside agencies
- Flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting to a multi-district cooperative environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect psychological services for EC-8th grade students identified with a variety of learning needs
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility decisions, and help develop individualized education plans
- Consult with educators, families, and support staff to deliver targeted interventions
- Maintain documentation and records in line with district and state requirements
- Travel between assigned schools as needed for comprehensive support
