Two contract opportunities are available for skilled School Psychologists eager to support diverse learners across early childhood to eighth grade within a supportive co-op structure. Flexibility is key, as assignments may span multiple districts surrounding the Naperville, IL area, serving either the Shorewood or Joliet communities.
You will provide crucial cross-categorical psychological services to students, collaborating closely with educators, families, and specialized teams to ensure each child’s needs are met. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure for Illinois
- Experience working with EC-8th grade students in educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Comfort with traveling between multiple school locations as needed
- Familiarity with IEP processes and cross-categorical caseload management
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, identify, and support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Conduct individual and group counseling, behavioral interventions, and student evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams in developing effective support plans
- Facilitate IEP meetings and provide consultative services to educational staff and families
- Maintain up-to-date records and promote a positive, inclusive school culture
