School Psychologist | Naperville, Illinois

Take your expertise in supporting student well-being to the next level as a School Psychologist placed in a thriving educational environment near Naperville, IL. This full-time, contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year will have you working with high school students and collaborating across two locations, bringing impactful and evidence-based support to students, staff, and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in School Psychology or related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or current National Certified School Psychologist certification
• Proficiency in research-based assessment practices and interpretation of data
• Strong skillset in developing and guiding academic and behavioral interventions
• Familiarity with federal and state laws, including IDEA, Section 504, and “child find” procedures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans for individual students
• Consult and provide clarity to parents/guardians regarding educational strategies and interventions, both at home and school
• Present evaluation and observational data to IEP teams and participate in eligibility decisions
• Serve as the LEA representative for IEP meetings, ensuring that all mandated procedures and effective communication with stakeholders are observed
• Offer individual and group counseling to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
• Advise and collaborate with teachers on academic/behavioral concerns and help develop classroom management solutions
• Operate as a member of the School Support Team, utilizing Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) problem-solving frameworks
• Coordinate with community resources to provide comprehensive support to students and families
