Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure
  • Previous experience working in K-8 school settings is highly preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, partnering effectively with staff, students, and families
  • Adaptability and organizational proficiency across multiple grade levels and buildings

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in both junior high and kindergarten
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support services as needed
  • Facilitate behavioral and academic interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Partner with teachers and administrators to promote positive learning environments
  • Communicate assessment results and recommendations clearly to families and school teams
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of intervention plans and progress tracking
