Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure
- Previous experience working in K-8 school settings is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, partnering effectively with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and organizational proficiency across multiple grade levels and buildings
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in both junior high and kindergarten
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support services as needed
- Facilitate behavioral and academic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Partner with teachers and administrators to promote positive learning environments
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations clearly to families and school teams
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of intervention plans and progress tracking
