Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year in the Naperville, IL area. The position is full-time, with a weekly commitment of 35-37 hours, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. (Wednesdays until 4:30 p.m.). Start as early as July 27th or as soon as possible.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Illinois PEL with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-6) preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychoeducational assessments, behavioral intervention strategies, and IEP meetings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable, solution-oriented approach to supporting diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments for elementary students
- Develop and interpret data-driven recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Assist in developing intervention plans and monitoring student progress
- Provide expertise on best practices to promote student mental health and achievement
