You’ll actively collaborate with educators and administration, lending your expertise to the MTSS process and participating in key meetings. Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current Illinois School Psychologist certification
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in conducting psychological and academic evaluations
- Excellent communication abilities, especially in team and parent meetings
- Experience with MTSS/RTI procedures is a plus
- Organized, compassionate, and committed to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Observe students in classroom and non-classroom settings
- Collaborate in MTSS process and provide recommendations for interventions
- Attend and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
- Communicate findings to parents, teachers, and staff
- Maintain clear documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
