Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois School Psychologist license
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Experience with elementary-age students preferred
• Ability to work onsite at two elementary school locations
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 35-45 students
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and well-being
• Provide direct intervention and counseling services for students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
• Offer crisis intervention and consultation related to behavior management
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development initiatives
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and district requirements

This contract role runs from ASAP through May 28, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours (7:45 am – 3:30 pm). Your expertise will be invaluable in helping elementary students thrive both academically and emotionally within a supportive educational environment.
