Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois School Psychologist license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience with elementary-age students preferred
- Ability to work onsite at two elementary school locations
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 35-45 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and well-being
- Provide direct intervention and counseling services for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation related to behavior management
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development initiatives
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
This contract role runs from ASAP through May 28, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours (7:45 am – 3:30 pm). Your expertise will be invaluable in helping elementary students thrive both academically and emotionally within a supportive educational environment.
