Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist in Illinois
  • Familiarity with multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RtI)
  • Strong skills in psychological and educational assessment, report writing, and data analysis
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families
  • Experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies that enhance student learning and behavior
  • Write detailed assessment reports and contribute to IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention services as needed
  • Promote evidence-based, positive behavioral interventions
  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
