Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Familiarity with multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RtI)
- Strong skills in psychological and educational assessment, report writing, and data analysis
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families
- Experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies that enhance student learning and behavior
- Write detailed assessment reports and contribute to IEP and eligibility meetings
- Support crisis intervention and prevention services as needed
- Promote evidence-based, positive behavioral interventions
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
