Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in the state
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Familiarity with current assessment tools and evidence-based interventions
  • Experience conducting psychological and academic evaluations for school-aged children
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Previous experience in educational settings is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention and support plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in student evaluation and recommending services as needed
  • Deliver short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students facing academic or social challenges
  • Promote safe and supportive learning environments through data-driven practices and consultative support
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Provide professional guidance to staff and families on best practices for supporting student development
