Take your expertise in school psychology to a collaborative educational setting serving students near Nashville, IN! A rewarding contract role is open for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students for the 2026–2027 academic year. Working onsite across three school buildings, you will play a crucial role in student evaluation and advocacy, reporting directly to the district supervisor and engaging in dynamic team meetings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana School Psychologist license required
  • Solid background in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determinations, with prior school-based experience preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of special education law, compliance, and best practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Strong communication skills and a student-centered approach

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 70 special education evaluations throughout the school year
  • Provide assessment, consultation, and linkage services across three school sites
  • Participate in monthly meetings with the district team to review progress, share recommendations, and coordinate services
  • Collaborate with staff and families to address student needs and implement appropriate educational plans
  • Maintain timely, thorough documentation in accordance with program requirements
  • Serve as a resource on compliance and eligibility for school staff
