Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist license (required)
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist in K-12 educational environments
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effectively collaborating with educators, students, and families
- Capability to handle sensitive and confidential student information with professionalism
- Adaptability and resourcefulness within a dynamic school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations using a variety of assessment tools
- Provide targeted interventions to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and share insights to promote student well-being and success
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community
- Engage in parent conferences, serving as an advocate for student mental health
These assignments commence on August 27, 2026, with varying end dates based on the position, totaling 35 hours per week. The roles are fully onsite, providing the chance to work directly with students and staff in a supportive school community.
