With a 35-hour work week, you’ll be responsible for evaluation administration and Preparation, Planning, and Team (PPT) reporting—ensuring the academic and emotional well-being of students. This contract assignment begins as soon as possible and will continue through March 30, 2027, offering long-term stability and a chance to build genuine relationships in the educational community.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Connecticut
- Demonstrated experience working within school settings
- Strong evaluation, assessment, and reporting skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and academic assessments to students as part of the evaluation process
- Prepare and present detailed PPT reports in alignment with school district standards and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans
- Offer consultation and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality at all times
