Elementary School Psychologist - New Britain, Connecticut

Step into a dynamic contract role supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist in a well-established educational environment near New Britain, CT. This full-time opportunity spans 37.5 hours weekly, from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, allowing you to make meaningful connections and provide vital services to a caseload of 10 elementary students.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid and current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
• Proficiency in conducting educational and psychological assessments
• Strong counseling and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site, as remote or hybrid options are not available

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
• Deliver counseling services focused on supporting academic, social, and emotional growth
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation related to assessments and services provided
• Serve as a resource in developing classroom strategies and interventions that help students succeed
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary to meet each student’s needs
