School Psychologist- Full Time 26/27 School Year

What You Will Do
• Assess & Evaluate: Conduct psychological evaluations, analyze behavioral data, and identify student needs to guide educational planning.
• Support Student Wellbeing: Deliver individual and group counseling to help students navigate social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate & Consult: Partner with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective IEPs and 504 plans.
• Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and guidance during critical incidents, ensuring a safe and secure school environment.
• Promote Positive Climate: Help implement school-wide initiatives, such as MTSS and restorative practices, to foster a positive school culture.
Who We Are Looking For
• Qualified Professionals: Holds a Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Certified Experts: Possesses or is eligible for the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) School Psychologist endorsement (070).
• Skilled Communicators: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect deeply with culturally diverse student populations and families.
