School Psychologist in New Brunswick, NJ

This full-time role is part of a dedicated Child Study Team, where you will work closely with approximately 40 students in grades 6-8. Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey certification as a School Psychologist (required)
• Experience working within schools, particularly with grades 6-8, is highly valued
• Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills as a contributing member of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret findings for students in need
• Participate actively as a member of the Child Study Team to support students’ individual learning plans
• Offer individual and group counseling as appropriate to address students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to foster student growth and well-being
• Contribute detailed reports and recommendations for educational planning and interventions

This contract position runs full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, providing the opportunity to work in a supportive and professional academic setting. Compensation for this role ranges from $50 to $55 per hour, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
