Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in K-12 settings, conducting evaluations, and creating intervention plans
- Excellent report writing and organizational skills
- Familiarity with special education laws and processes (IDEA, IEPs, 504s)
- Strong collaboration and consultation abilities with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement data-driven intervention plans for students with varying needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, offering expertise to create effective educational plans
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with parents, teachers, and staff
- Promote safe and positive learning environments, supporting students’ social-emotional growth
