Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Eligible for or actively pursuing Delaware licensure in School Psychology
- Proven experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong understanding of special education law and best practices
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Compassionate, collaborative, and organized
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, though committed early-career professionals are welcome
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and 504 Plans
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services for students
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student well-being and academic achievement
- Assist in the implementation of evidence-based interventions and positive behavioral supports
- Document, report, and present findings in a clear and timely manner
