Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Eligible for or actively pursuing Delaware licensure in School Psychology
  • Proven experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong understanding of special education law and best practices
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Compassionate, collaborative, and organized
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred, though committed early-career professionals are welcome

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services for students
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student well-being and academic achievement
  • Assist in the implementation of evidence-based interventions and positive behavioral supports
  • Document, report, and present findings in a clear and timely manner
