Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist license (required)
- Previous school-based psychologist experience strongly preferred
- Expertise conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing thorough reports
- Familiarity with participation in IEP processes and multidisciplinary meetings
- Ability to support a diverse caseload spanning early childhood to high school populations
- Reliable transportation for travel between multiple school sites as needed
- Flexibility to work the full academic year onsite, with no hybrid or remote options
- Commitment to completing required district fingerprinting promptly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychoeducational evaluations, analyze data, and present findings to teams and families
- Write detailed, actionable assessment reports to inform student support plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and parents in IEP meetings to ensure tailored interventions
- Work on-location in an early years program and provide support across various grade levels
- Manage and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines and comply with school and district guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all state and federal regulations governing student services
