Make a significant impact supporting students’ success as a School Psychologist in a welcoming elementary school environment near Wilmington, DE. This contract position offers the chance to work onsite, fostering growth and positive outcomes for elementary-age students through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year.

In this role, you’ll bring your expertise in school psychology to collaborate with educators, families, and students. You'll assess needs, help develop interventions, and contribute to a holistic approach to academic and social-emotional well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Delaware School Psychologist license (required)
  • Experience working directly with school-age children, ideally in elementary settings
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload
  • Willingness to complete CBC fingerprinting ($85) as part of the onboarding process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide recommendations for behavioral and academic interventions
  • Support crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise to student support plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
