This position is available immediately, providing essential psychological services and expertise to students and staff in a vibrant educational setting located near New Castle, Delaware. The district is filling a critical backfill need and welcomes applications from both experienced professionals and those with a pending Delaware license. Enjoy the added flexibility of working remotely 1-2 days per week in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field) required
• Delaware School Psychologist certification, or eligibility with pending licensure
• Demonstrated knowledge of current school-based testing, assessment tools, and best practices
• Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multi-disciplinary teams
• Effective communication skills with students, parents, and staff
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop student support plans
• Provide direct intervention and counseling services for students as needed
• Guide and participate in RTI, 504, and IEP meetings
• Document services, maintain records, and prepare required reports
• Consult with families, offering guidance to support learning and behavioral needs
• Participate in initiatives that promote positive student outcomes
