Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active school psychologist certification/license (or eligibility for certification) as required by the state of Delaware
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing IEPs, and interpreting data
  • Familiarity with RTI/MTSS and crisis intervention procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to students and staff

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments and interpret testing results for eligibility and intervention planning
  • Write clear, comprehensive evaluation reports and contribute expertise during IEP meetings
  • Support the development and implementation of behavior plans and student supports
  • Deliver individual and group counseling as determined by student needs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies and interventions
  • Participate in crisis intervention and prevention as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
