A school district in New Haven, CT, is seeking skilled School Psychologists for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, allowing candidates to work both in-person and remotely. While full-time candidates are preferred, part-time applicants will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support services to address student mental health and behavioral concerns.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to eligibility determination.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for Connecticut certification in School Psychology; candidates with pending certifications are encouraged to apply.
- Experience managing a heavy caseload of evaluations and related school psychological services.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, mental health practices, and educational laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to work on-site in New Haven with hybrid work schedule flexibility.
