Make a meaningful difference in student success across diverse school environments as a School Psychologist on a contract basis, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time schedules. This vital role runs throughout the 2026-2027 school year and offers the flexibility of in-person or hybrid work arrangements.

You’ll be consistently engaged in student evaluations and collaborate within a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Bilingual (Spanish) professionals or those experienced in working with interpreters are encouraged—your skills will provide invaluable support to a broad student community. Candidates must hold, or be in the process of securing, Connecticut certification.

Key Qualifications:

  • Connecticut School Psychologist certification (or pending certification)
  • Expertise in conducting psychoeducational and Early Childhood evaluations
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills or adeptness working with interpreters strongly valued
  • Flexibility to work across various schools and programs
  • Exceptional ability to communicate, collaborate, and document findings effectively
  • Demonstrated commitment to cultural competency and equitable practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive student evaluations for all referred students, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Participate on assessment and multidisciplinary teams for Early Childhood or charter school settings
  • Offer consultative support to educators, families, and other stakeholders regarding learning, behavior, and development
  • Translate assessment data into actionable recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Engage in problem-solving meetings and interventions to foster student growth

This contract position offers a weekly schedule of 32.5 hours, with flexibility to accommodate part-time applicants. Earn $100.00–$105.00 per hour as a School Psychologist, or $105.00–$110.00 per hour if you are bilingual in Spanish.
