Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (070)
- Experience with PreK-2nd grade student populations is highly desirable
- Strong skills in assessing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Ability to effectively provide therapeutic counseling to both individuals and groups
- Proven aptitude in collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience facilitating PPT and 504 meetings is a plus
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students presenting with social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Complete classroom observations and synthesize findings into actionable insights
- Design, develop, and implement evidence-based counseling interventions for individuals and groups
- Take the lead in facilitating PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings, ensuring each student’s needs are prioritized
- Coordinate and facilitate 504 meetings, advocating for appropriate student accommodations
- Collaborate with school teams to develop interventions and track student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation on all services and meetings
