Qualifications:

• Certified or eligible as a School Psychologist in Connecticut
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
• Understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), RTI, and special education eligibility processes
• Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing intervention strategies
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and parents
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in eligibility meetings
• Assist in designing and implementing interventions for academic and behavioral concerns
• Support crisis intervention and collaborate on promoting positive school climates
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
