Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CT 070 School Psychologist License
• Demonstrated experience with student psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and report writing
• Proficiency in providing counseling services to school-age children and adolescents
• Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, particularly PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
• Comfortable working in a contract role, providing direct student support as well as consultation to educators and families
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students’ needs
• Develop and present comprehensive report findings for use in planning and placement decisions
• Offer individual and group counseling services to promote social, emotional, and behavioral health
• Serve as a resource and advocate, providing recommendations and strategies to educators and families
• Participate in PPT meetings, collaborating on interventions and supports for students
• Maintain thorough records and adhere to all relevant policies and confidentiality requirements
