What you’ll bring:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (Connecticut credentials preferred)
- Experience providing psychological services at the high school level
- Strong skills in student assessment and evaluation practices
- Proficiency in individual and group counseling with adolescents
- Commitment to fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive school environments
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, team-focused approach
Key responsibilities:
- Complete approximately 25 educational evaluations per year in accordance with district guidelines
- Provide counseling services to students—supporting emotional, behavioral, and academic growth
- Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being
- Document case notes and progress, ensuring compliance with all required regulations
- Participate in school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and positive student outcomes
