With a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, you’ll engage directly with a K-12 caseload, with a strong likelihood of focusing on elementary students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license issued by the state of Virginia
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in elementary settings
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning environments and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students, with particular attention to elementary-aged children
  • Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a positive learning environment
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide support during eligibility meetings
  • Deliver consultation and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state policies
