Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in Ohio
  • Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding student evaluations
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive educational environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to identify student needs
  • Provide counseling and intervention services for students experiencing academic or behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations
  • Support positive behavioral initiatives and proactive mental health practices within the school
  • Offer crisis intervention and response as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation according to professional and legal standards
